iPad Planner Setup

Although I love my bullet journal, I like to use my iPad for my daily planner. I have the iPad Air 3rd Generation with the 1st generation Apple Pencil, and I love it! The iPad Air fits all of my wants and needs in an iPad. I use my iPad for notes, school, and art.
I have always been super picky about my planner, so I had to make my own! For the weekly pages, I made a layout on Procreate.

I take the pdf, and I import it into Notability. You do not need Notability as your notes app; GoodNotes works great as well!
On Notability, I make a "2021" Section that I then make a separate note in that section for each of the months. I like naming them 1. January, 2. February, etc. so I can keep my notes in alphabetical order across the app.
I copy and paste the pdf template as many times as there are weeks in that month. On the template, you have to write the number of what day it is, so I like to fill all of those out when I am setting up my planner.
I decided to include a Notes and To-Do section on this template for some extra space if I need to write anything down for that week!
You can download the weekly template pdf with the link below for free!
For each month, I also like to include a monthly calendar that I place at the front of the month.
I downloaded my template here. After downloading the template, I screenshotted the months I wanted and put the images in the note.
I also like to color code my assignments by highlighting everything in a particular color associated that that class. This way I can look at the week and see which classes have assignments when. This also allows me to only write something like "online homework" and highlight it blue to show it's for my math class, as opposed to writing math online homework each time.
My favorite part about using an iPad for my planner is how you can move anything around if needed. I can copy and paste assignments, pick something up and move it, or erase something quickly. In a written planner, you cannot really do these things. So, I totally recommend starting a digital planner if you have an iPad or tablet! You can use my template, and maybe one day make your own template that works perfectly for you!
